Activity, the record of changes

Explains: specs/023-console-record-pages#req-002, D-AUTH-01, D-020-40, specs/014-publisher-feed#req-008, specs/009-user-auth-audit#req-003, specs/023-console-record-pages#req-001, specs/004-customer-management#req-003

Activity is your shop's record of the changes its people make in the console, and of the ones it refused: who made it, what they did, when, and a one-line summary (specs/009 REQ-003). It is read-only. Nothing and nobody can edit or delete an entry (D-AUTH-01).

Where to read it

  • Activity under Admin lists the shop's latest changes, newest first, with the columns When, Who, Action and Summary.
  • A customer's Activity tab lists the main things that happened to that customer, its campaigns and its feeds, newest first (specs/023 REQ-001, REQ-002). Archiving or disabling a customer from your shop lists each campaign and feed the change touched (specs/004 REQ-003).

What it shows

  • People: each person by name and email address. A change ClickFactor's own staff make that is filed in your shop, such as stopping redirection for one of your customers or editing one of your publishers, is listed with ClickFactor's mark and the person's display name, never their email address (D-020-40, specs/014 REQ-008).
  • Changes the system made on its own, such as a campaign stopped for its budget, with the figures that caused it.
  • Stopping and resuming redirection, with the reason the person gave.

Activity never holds a password, whether set, reset or changed.
